Scholars and students today are more connected globally and technologically than ever before. Today’s leading libraries must deliver accurate, comprehensive information 24 hours a day to students, faculty, scholars and members of the community

The Libraries' collections and services, physical and virtual, provide outstanding support for internationally recognized research in more than 80 doctoral programs while also addressing the learning needs of more than 30,000 undergraduate students across three campuses. In 2004, the Libraries was awarded the prestigious Excellence in Libraries Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). In 2007, Dean of Libraries, Betsy Wilson, was named the ACRL Academic/Research Librarian of the Year. She was recognized for her pioneering and leadership roles in the areas of information literacy and assessment, as well as for her commitment to collaboration and partnership. In order to maintain our position as an outstanding academic library, we must continue to innovate and look for new opportunities to improve our resources and services.
