Serving students, faculty, scholars and members of the community, the University Libraries is an essential tool for learning, culture and research.

The Libraries' collections total over 7 million catalogued volumes, an equal number of microform volumes, several million items in other formats, and more than 50,000 serial titles.

Thanks to private support, the University Libraries is recognized as one of the premier research libraries in North America.

Make a gift to one of the following funds:

Libraries 21st Century Fund: a fund that provides support for activities, projects and programs with the objective of enhancing the overall excellence of the Libraries, including collections, services, lecturers and publications, as determined by the Dean of University Libraries.

Friends of the Libraries: a fund to support events, activities, programs, collections and library needs as determined by the Friends of the Libraries

Student Employee Scholarship Program: students employed by the University Libraries are eligible for this annual award, which may be used for tuition, books or other educational costs

An existing endowment An endowment is a permanent fund, often named for the donor or other individual. Distributions from an endowment support the purpose or program chosen by the donor.
